Communication is the hardest part of growing any company. I could count on many hands and fingers the studies and books written about how to approach workplace communication. To me, one critical communicational problem that can plague a team is the suppression of hard talks with peers and managers.
Recently, members of my team have begun to ask me:
“How do I get X to do what we need to them to do without it seeming like I am talking down to them or micro-managing?”
